Ufficiale: WhatsApp attiva le videochiamate su iOS
WhatsApp ha attivato ufficialmente le videochiamate sull’app di iOS. Ecco tutto quello che c’è da sapere.
È arrivato direttamente da San Francisco l’update di WhatsApp che aggiunge, in via ufficiale, la funzione delle videochiamate. Fin’ora avevamo parlato dell’arrivo ufficiale su Android e dell’arrivo, ma solo per alcuni utenti, anche su iOS.
Cosa importante da sottolineare è che, l’azienda di messaggistica istantanea, ha crittografato le videochiamate così come avviene con i messaggi.
Per effettuare una videochiamata vi basterà premere l’icona della video camera nella schermata della chat con cui desiderate avviare la videochiamata:
Una volta cliccato sull’icona si avvierà il dialer. Se, invece, ricevete una videochiamata sull’app, vi comparirà la classica schermata con le due cornette, verde e rossa, per decidere se rispondere o riagganciare.
La qualità delle video chiamate, a primo impatto, sembra essere davvero eccellente! Ogni tanto ha qualche micro lag, nulla di fastidioso. Non presentano un eccessivo rumore video e l’audio si sente davvero bene, cosa non da poco dato la precedenza esperienza con le chiamate vocali che, al lancio, si sentivano abbastanza male.
Sembra essere un duro colpo nei confronti dell’eterno rivale Telegram, dal quale ci aspettiamo una risposta che non sia da meno! Noi di iTechMania vi terremo aggiornati, come sempre.
WhatsApp si aggiorna! Video chiamate in arrivo ?
WhatsApp nell’ultimo aggiornamento versione 2.16.3 ha portato con se numerose novità, ma nel changelog il team ha riportato soltanto la correzione di bug.
WhatsApp come avrete sicuramente notato aggiornandolo all’ultima versione, a primo impatto non presenta nulla di diverso tranne l’aggiunta di un pulsante all’interno delle chat che vi permette di tornare in basso all’ultimo messaggio pubblicato.
Secondo alcuni rumors e analisi molto accurate pare che oltre all’introduzione di questa nuova funzione gli sviluppatori abbiano introdotto anche le video chiamate (funzione che risulta ancora nascosta dal codice dell’app) e tutte queste novità riportate qui di seguito:
